4 Attitudes That Make You Unhappy

We cannot always get what we want (right, Love?). Every day I’m working on my patience, but why we sometimes look like we are running some kind of a marathon to live?

This is what I think keep us away from our happiness:

  1. “ Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.”

Why do I need to keep my enemies closer? I have a few good friends and enough people to call bodies.  I only feel comfortable with the ones that I know we have our back to each other. I can feel when someone its going to be bad for me, and I decided not to have that energy around.

2. “Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t”.

One of my girls is seeing a guy that played her in the past. She feels alone and that’s why she is with him again. Why do we need to be in constant company? I’m kind of guilty of the same “pleasure” but, this is not healthy. At the end of the day we are just lying to our self.

3. Stop the complaints.

Everybody has problems, everybody in dealing with their own hell. Life knows what is doing with us, we just need to trust, and specially, in us, in our beautiful way of giving a fuck about things we do not need.

4. Stop Procrastinating.

Do you have trip that you always want it to do? I do. I’m dying to go to New Orleans, but I keep saying “later, later I will go”. When is the right time? I don’t know, and I don’t think anyone knows.

Anna Frank said: “The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be.”

Last word for you today… TRUST!

  22. Nice thoughts and I agree complaints about small things are annoying but without complaints how do we identify big issues like gender disparity, racism, the list goes on….

  23. Procrastination is my middle name! Sometimes life can get in the way, but most of the time I think we stand in the way of ourselves. Also, go to NOLA, it’s so good!
